PREPARE THE SITE

A good installation starts below the surface.

Review the base, structure and power supply before the pergola arrives.

  1. 01

    Confirm the location

Record the outside dimensions of your size and the post positions on a site plan. Check doors, eaves, utilities, drains and the walking route around the pergola.

  2. 02

    Confirm the foundation

The patio surface alone does not tell you whether the base is suitable. Confirm the foundation and base fixing against the product drawings and local codes.

  3. 03

    Plan the electrical connection

Plan the power supply and cable route with a licensed electrician. Confirm the electrical connection against the product drawings and local codes.

  4. 04

    Prepare for assembly

Read the instructions and the packing list for your size. Plan the working space, lifting method and access before you unpack heavy parts.

  5. 05

    Check before operating

Follow the assembly instructions for your pergola. Check that the louvers move freely and that water drains out near the post bases. Don't force a part that sticks.

Keep the right documents together

Keep the site plan, foundation details, electrical documents, packing list and instructions with your order. You will need them for installation and later support questions.

Ask about your installation

Ask your building department about permits before you order.
